Meyer Lemon

The weather is nice, the sun is out again, and it is almost officially springtime here in Dallas!

To celebrate, we wanted to use our tried-and-true Copper & Clover collection to inspire a fun springtime activity for all of our loyal readers. And what better activity is there than cocktail hour … I mean really!

Our Meyer Lemon candle is one of my personal favorites. It has a bright, sweet fragrance that is perfect for both spring and summer. This candle inspired me to do a little research on how I could bring Meyer Lemon and cocktail hour together. Introducing: the Meyer Lemon and Thyme Bees Knees, courtesy of spoonforkbacon.com. This cocktail is bright and sweet with the perfect amount of tanginess. Not to mention it is very aesthetically pleasing as well, for all of you who can’t resist posting pretty cocktails on Instagram. The ingredients are minimal and, for how pretty it looks, you’d be surprised how simple it is to make! All the more reason to get mixing.

To make it even better, we recommend rounding out your cocktail-making experience by burning our Meyer Lemon candle as you sip! Fresh and lemon-y with hints of pineapple, strawberry, and musk, it is a must-have as the weather gets warmer.

I said this cocktail was simple, but that doesn’t mean you won’t need at least a little bit of instruction. Download and print out this recipe card and add it to your favorite cocktail book or print out multiple to give to your friends after they rave when you serve them this delight (and I promise…they will be raving!)
